TLU's Swift four shots out of lead with round to play at UMHB Lady Crusader Fall Invitational
GLEN ROSE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran senior women's golfer Summer Swift is four shots out of the individual lead with a round to play at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Crusader Fall Invitational.
At the Comanche Lakes Course at Squaw Valley on Monday, Swift carded a 6-over-par 78.
Victoria Gleghorn of UMHB and Madison Goldberg of Southwestern share the overnight lead. Each player fired a 2-over 74.
Swift is one of three Bulldogs competing in the tournament. TLU did not take a full team to the tournament.
First-year players Bernadette Barringer and Samantha De La Rosa carded rounds of 97 and 103, respectively.
Southwestern leads the team standings after a round of 307. Hardin-Simmons (321) and UMHB (322) sit in second and third.
