Bulldogs drop pair of non-conference matches Saturday

MARSHALL and LONGVIEW, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Tennis notched its second win of the year with a 6-3 victory Saturday at LeTourneau University.
The TLU Men's and Women's Tennis squads each lost team matches earlier Saturday to East Texas Baptist. The men fell 9-0, and the women lost 7-2.
The TLU Men also lost 9-0 to LeTourneau.
In the women's victory over LeTourneau, TLU fell behind 3-1 but rallied to win the next five matches.
The Bulldogs won at No. 2 singles with Mary Eby, who took a 7-5, 7-6 win.
Madison Starr stormed back after losing the first set to win the match 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Kaitlyn Enloe, Bailey Denton and Liz Perkins each won in straight sets at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. 

Eby and Starr gave TLU its first point of the match with an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
