Schreiner posts pair of tennis wins Friday over Texas Lutheran

SEGUIN, Texas -- Schreiner University captured a 7-2 win in men's tennis and an 8-1 victory in women's tennis in dual matches against Texas Lutheran University on Friday afternoon.

At TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center, the Bulldog Men picked up a men's doubles win from Nick Roccaforte (Conroe/Conroe) and Eric Wendt (Round Rock/Round Rock) and a singles victory from Matthew Stephenson (Wharton/Wharton).

The TLU Women received a win at No. 3 doubles from Samantha Stafford (Rockport/Rockport-Fulton) and Kaitlyn Enloe (Seguin/Seguin).

The TLU Women fell to 4-9 overall. The TLU Men also dropped to 4-9.

The Schreiner Women improved to 8-7 overall. The Schreiner Men moved to 5-9.

TLU travels to San Antonio on Saturday for women's and men's matches against Trinity University. The matches in San Antonio begin at 11:30 a.m.
