TLU Tennis posts pair of wins against Howard Payne

KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's and Men's Tennis opened their 2019 spring seasons with team victories over Howard Payne University on Saturday.

The TLU Women won 7-1, and the TLU Men won 9-0.

Each TLU squad improved to 1-0. Each HPU squad dropped to 0-1.

The Bulldogs were scheduled to play Centenary (La.) on Saturday afternoon, but the matches were canceled due to inclement weather.

TLU is scheduled to face Sul Ross State at 9 a.m. on Sunday in Kerrville.
