Wills Receives Spot on CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team
SEGUIN, Texas -- For the second consecutive season, Texas Lutheran men's golf senior Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) earned the honor of being named CSC Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, the College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA, announced.
A Communications major, Wills earned All-SCAC honorable mention honors following the 2025 SCAC Championship Tournament and maintained a 3.76 GPA throughout his collegiate career.
On the course, Wills led the Bulldogs in scoring in 6-of-10 tournaments. He finished the campaign with a 72.6 stroke average.
Overall, Wills finished in the top ten in six out of the Bulldogs ten tournaments this season.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 9 (men).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
