Cross Country teams race at UC-Riverside Highlander Invitational

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Seven Texas Lutheran Bulldogs - three men and four women - competed Saturday at the University of California at Riverside Highland Invitational.

The UC-Riverside races were filled primarily with NCAA Division I teams.

Ashley Rynard (Temple/Temple) finished 100th overall with a 5K time of 19 minutes, 17.9 seconds in the women's race.

Ciara Rodriguez (Uvalde/Uvalde) and Hannah Martinez (Alice/Alice) finished 144th and 188th, respectively, with times of 20:11.8 and 21:13.7.

Brooke Kloesel (Shiner/Shiner) came home 221st with a time of 22:38.9.

In the men's race, Caleb Calderson was 109th with an 8K time of 26:31.8. Cassius Serff-Roberts (Austin/Akins) and Hector Hornedo (San Antonio/Antonian) were 213th and 217th, respectively, with times of 29:13.0 and 29:20.5.
