EDINBURG, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer fell 5-0 to the NCAA Division I opponent University of Texas Rio Grande Valley on Thursday night in Edinburg, Texas.
UTRGV scored twice in the first three minutes and added three goals in the second half.
The Vaqueros improved to 5-3-1 overall. TLU dropped to 4-3-1.
TLU was held without a shot. UTRGV took 34 shots and had 15 shots on goal.
TLU returns to NCAA Division III action on Sunday with a 1 p.m. match in Kerrville, Texas against Schreiner University.
