Bulldogs Compete in West Region Invitational

GEORGETOWN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team wrapped the 2024 West Region Invitational Monday at the Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown.

Texas Lutheran only had three golfers - sophomore Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro), freshman Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia), and junior Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) - participating in the invitational and would not configure into the team standings.

Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) paced the Bulldogs over the course of Monday's 36-holes with a 25-over 169 score Monday to finish 14th.

Jacqueline Springs and Jordyn Ponewash finished 21st and 22nd at 45 and 48-over.

The Bulldogs turn their attention to the 2024 SCAC Championships beginning on April 21st in Waco, Texas.
