Frederick Leads Texas Lutheran Through 36 Holes at Coastal Collegiate Classic
GLENEDEN BEACH, OR -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team remains in second place after a rain-filled second day at the Coastal Collegiate Classic hosted by Corban University at the Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach, Oregon.
Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) continued to guide the Bulldogs in the Classic, residing in third place at 29-over following a 15-over second round on Monday.
Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) and Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) continue to mirror each other at the Salishan Golf Links with each falling three spots on the leaderboard to tie for 10th place after each shot 28-over in the second round.
Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) and Mireia Bustamante (Austin/McNeil) tied for 12th place with both having scores of 200 (+58) through two rounds.
Tuesday's second round will begin with tee times starting at 9 AM PST.
