Bulldogs' Summer Swift collects sixth-place finish at UMHB Lady Crusader Fall Invitational
GLEN ROSE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran senior Summer Swift finished sixth overall Tuesday at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Crusader Fall Invitational.
Swift closed the tournament with a five-over 77 after posting a six-over 78 on Monday. Swift's two-round total came to 155.
Madison Goldberg of Southwestern won the event by closing with a 2-under 70 in the final round. She finished at even par with a two-round total of 144.
Swift played as an individual along with her two TLU teammates at the UMHB tournament. Four players are needed to score as a team.

Bernadette Barringer and Samantha De La Rosa finished in 55th and 62nd, respectively. Barringer improved by 10 shots from her Monday round, shooting an 87 on Tuesday. De La Rosa improved by six shots from her Monday score, shooting a 97 on Tuesday.
TLU has one fall tournament remaining on its women's schedule. The Bulldogs play Oct. 14-15 at the Trinity University Alamo City Classic, held at San Antonio's The Quarry Golf Club.
