TLU Women's Golf sixth in weather-shortened Alamo City Classic
SAN ANTONIO -- Texas Lutheran Women's Golf posted a sixth-place team finish Tuesday in the weather-shortened Alamo City Classic.
The Alamo City Classic was scheduled for two rounds, but it was reduced to one round at The Quarry Golf Club after weather forced the cancellation of Monday's round.
TLU carded a team score of 406.
Summer Swift (Fentress/San Marcos) led TLU with an 87. Swift finished 10th overall.
Kristen Cox (Utopia/Utopia) and Halie Lewis (Schulenburg/Schulenburg) recorded scores of 95 and 108, and Kristen Laird (Seguin/Seguin) posted a 116.
Concordia University Texas won the tournament with a 336. Makaela Lauritsen of Concordia took the individual title with an 80.
