Five TLU Women's Basketball players named SCAC Honorable Mention

SEGUIN, Texas -- Five Texas Lutheran Women's Basketball players - Abby Hroch, Morgan Rodriguez, Cami Davis, Dominique Campos, and Tara Molina - were named Saturday to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.
 
The Bulldogs concluded their season Saturday with a conference tournament semifinal loss to top-seed Trinity. TLU upset four-seed Schreiner in a quarterfinal matchup on Friday.
 
Hroch, a junior starting post, averaged 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. She made 50.5 per percent of her total field goal attempts, and she added 22 blocks.
 
Rodriguez, a sophomore forward, led TLU in scoring, at 10. 6 per contest. She also contributed 5.9 rebounds and a steal per game. Rodriguez made 47.9 percent of her total shots.
 
Davis, a senior guard, scored 9.9 per game and added 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. She made 50 three-pointers.
 
Campos, a senior guard, put in 8.3 points per game and collected 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest. The SCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2019, Campos had 23 steals in 2019-20.
 
Molina, also a senior guard, dished out 5.6 assists per contest, and she averaged 6.2 points and 3.7 rebounds.
 
TLU, coached by Mel Dixon, closed out its 2019-20 season with a 12-15 record and a 9-9 mark in the SCAC.
