TLU Softball Series vs. Southwestern Suspended; Will Resume Play on Monday

GEORGETOWN, Texas -- No. 15 Texas Lutheran opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) play on Sunday against Southwestern University at Taylor-Sanders Field in Georgetown, Texas.
The game was initially delayed to start due to lightning in the area before the two teams could take the field.
After getting through 3.2 innings, the game went into a rain delay and was eventually suspended with Texas Lutheran leading 5-0 with two outs in the top of the fourth inning. The two teams will resume play of game one at 5:30 PM tomorrow (Mar. 18). The two teams will also play the final two games of the series tomorrow following the conclusion of game one.
