Acero Wins Pole Vault at CNU Qualifier

NEWPORT NEWS, VA -- Ezra Acero (San Antonio/Harlan) was the only Bulldog in competition this weekend as he traveled to Christopher Newport in Newport News, Virginia, to compete in the CNU Qualifier in an attempt to qualify for the 2024 NCAA Indoor National Championships.

Acero would win the pole vault, his second event win of the 2024 indoor season, with a mark of 4.60m (15'1").

As of Sunday night, Acero ranks 25th in NCAA Division-III and first in the West Region in the pole vault with a season-high mark of 4.76m (15' 7.25") at the LSU Twilight earlier this month.
