Leslie Highlights Day Three of Men's ITA Southwest Regional Championships

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's tennis team continued play in day three of the 2023 ITA Southwest Regional Championships hosted by Trinity University in San Antonio on Saturday.

The Bulldogs would drop both of their doubles matches in the B flight on Saturday.

The highlight of Saturday's action was Jackson Leslie (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) in the D draw as the New Braunfels native would win his first two matches to earn a spot in the draw's semifinals on Sunday. Leslie would defeat Howard Payne 6-1, 7-5 and would follow with a 6-7, 6-4, 10-4 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Texas Lutheran would drop both matches in the main bracket of the C draw before Logan Randall (Idalou/Idalou) would win 6-0, 6-3 to play into Sunday's semifinals of the consolation bracket.
