Texas Lutheran places seven on SCAC All-Tournament tennis teams

SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs placed seven singles players and one doubles squad on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's and Men's Tennis All-Tournament Teams.

The TLU Women put four singles players - Madison Dyer (Marble Falls/Marble Falls), Mary Eby(Rockport/Rockport-Fulton), Samantha Stafford (Rockport/Rockport-Fulton) and Kaitlyn Enloe(Seguin/Seguin) - on the women's team for singles.

Dyer, Eby, Stafford and Enloe received the singles honors at No. 2, No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Enloe and Stafford picked up an all-tournament award at No. 3 doubles.

On the men's side, Jared Mason (Sugar Land/Travis), Nick Roccaforte (Conroe/Conroe) and Eric Wendt (Round Rock/Round Rock) were named to the All-Tournament Team as singles players. Mason, Roccaforte, and Wendt received the honors at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles, respectively.

Roccaforte earned All-Tournament honors for a second consecutive year.

Any player (or doubles team) that goes through the conference tournament undefeated is named to the all-tournament team automatically. If no one player or team goes undefeated using the above criteria, then the next best record at that position will be named to the all-tournament team. Coaches may also nominate a player for the all-tournament team.
