Austin College grabs 5-0, 6-0 tennis wins over Texas Lutheran

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Austin College recorded 5-0 and 6-0 victories Sunday over Texas Lutheran in women's and men's tennis action, respectively.

Austin College Women improved to 8-3 overall. The Austin College Men moved to 6-6.

The TLU Men and TLU Women each fell to 4-8.

The matches were played at the covered courts at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels.

The matches were played to completion, meaning the matches were stopped once one team reached the minimum five victories for the team win.

The Bulldogs' next matches are home matches next Friday against Schreiner University. The matches begin at 4 p,m. at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.
