Dallas Baptist gets two wins Friday over TLU Tennis

SEGUIN, Texas -- Dallas Baptist registered a pair of team tennis wins Friday afternoon against Texas Lutheran. The DBU Women won 9-0, and the DBU Men won 8-1.

The DBU Women improved to 17-5 overall. The TLU Women fell to 4-5.

The DBU Men improved to 9-13 overall. The TLU Men dropped to 4-5.

The Bulldog Men picked up their lone win at No. 3 singles. Nick Roccaforte (Conroe/Conroe) lost the first set 6-4, but his opponent, Gabe Garrido, retired after the first set to give Roccaforte the win.

TLU squads return to action next Thursday with home matches against Concordia Texas. The dual matches begin at 3:30 p.m. at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.
