Givilancz in Seventh Place as Men's Golf Opens at Alamo City Classic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team sits in eighth place after 36 holes at the Alamo City Classic at the Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas.

The Bulldogs shot a team score of 590 (+13) through 36 holes. Host Trinity University currently sits in first place with a team score of 562 (-7).

Tyler Givilancz (Schertz/Clemens) leads the lineup thus far at two-under through two rounds. Givilancz started five-under in the first round before following with a three-over score in his second round. Givilancz trails by seven strokes entering Tuesday's final round.

Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) is in 19th place with a 36-hole score of three-over (145).

Caleb Kruse (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) is in 36th at eight-over while freshman Johannes Chang (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia/Tenby International School) is tied for 37th at nine-over.
