Bulldogs Drop Road Contest to Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Texas Lutheran dropped Friday's contest at Centenary, 83-60, at the Gold Dome in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Sophomore LaDarius King (Austin/St. Stephen's Episcopal) led the Bulldogs with a season-high 18 points and career-high nine rebounds. Xavier Phillips (Austin/Dripping Springs) added 15 points off the bench, including four made threes.

The Gents would start the game on a 9-2 run before the Bulldogs would battle back to tie the game 14-all and taking a 17-14 lead into the second media timeout. The Bulldogs would lead by as many as eight points before the host Gents would take a seven point lead into the halftime break.

The Gents would never relinquish the lead from that point forward leading by as many as 26 points, ending the night with a 83-60 tally.

The Bulldogs continue their three-week, five-game road trip on Sunday as they travel to Houston to face the St. Thomas Celts. Tip-off is set for 12 PM. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
