Bulldogs Get a 79-76 Win against SCAC Opponent Schreiner

SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran holds off Schreiner in a close game, winning 79-76 in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup.

The Bulldogs win their second in back-to-back games, improving to 6-5 overall and 3-1 in the SCAC.

Schreiner drops to 2-7 overall and 0-2 in the SCAC.

Sebastian Andrade was the game's highest scorer, dropping 27 points on the Mountaineers, shooting 9-21 from the field. He was also one of three Bulldogs to have the game-high in assists with three.

Jordan Kite went 4-8 from behind the three-point line putting up a total of 14 points tonight.

 Though Caleb Lister played limited time due to foul trouble, he also got in on the scoring with 14 points of his own, going 2-3 from deep.

Jamir Mason was once again active defensively stealing the ball four times, while also dishing out three assists.

Texas Lutheran won the turnover battle forcing the Mountaineers to commit 17 turnovers while only giving away the ball eight times.

The Bulldogs made a third of their attempts from behind the three-point line, shooting 10-30 from deep.

Matthew Rindahl was Schreiner's leading scorer putting up 24 points on the Bulldogs, while shooting 2-4 from deep.

The Bulldogs play their last of a three game homestand January 3rd, 2020 at Memorial Gymnasium in Seguin, Texas against Southwestern.
