Cam Bryant enters her second season as the inaugural head coach of the TLU Acrobatics and Tumbling program after an illustrious competitive career that saw her become a four-time national champion with the Baylor Bears.

In her first season as coach, Bryant had two student-athletes qualify for the NCATA Division-III National Championships.

"We are extremely excited that Cam Bryant has accepted our head Acrobatics and Tumbling Coaching position.  She has the background and personality to get the TLU Acrobatics and Tumbling program off to a strong start.  Having been a member of multiple National Championship Teams at Baylor, she understands what it takes to build a championship program and compete at a championship level.  She also has strong connections in the Acrobatics and Tumbling community which will serve her well as she builds the TLU Acrobatics and Tumbling program from the ground up. She knows that she has a chance to make history and to build something that will make TLU distinctive among many other NCAA DIII institutions moving forward.  We are excited for her and excited that she wanted to be part of the TLU family," said Miller.

Baylor Bears Head Coach Felecia Mulkey stated, "During her time with the Baylor program, Cam served as the team's battery.  She is a talented athlete, but Cam's energy, passion and ability to lift everyone around her made her an integral part of our success. I have no doubt that she will take these skills into her coaching career where she will teach, mentor and compete at the highest level. I am excited for Cam but I am absolutely thrilled for Texas Lutheran, the Seguin community and all of the student-athletes who are going to benefit from Cam's impact."

President Debbie Cottrell added, "The launching of an Acrobatics & Tumbling program at Texas Lutheran is a very exciting step for us.  I'm thrilled to have someone with the skill and passion of Cam Bryant lead this program and serve as our inaugural head coach.  I know she'll help ensure a successful and thriving program for us."

Bryant graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Kinesiology and Leisure Studies and Master's in Sports Pedagogy. Bryant helped the Bears compile a record of 43-2 and four NCATA national championships over her five years as a student-athlete. Bryant is a native of Suwanee, Georgia.
