Tailgating

 

BULLDOG TAILGATE POLICY – 2023 Season

· Tailgating will begin at 10 AM for 1pm home games and at 3 p.m. for 6 p.m. home games.

· Tailgating is allowed on a first come, first serve basis inside Jackson Park (across from Bulldog Stadium) or where you park your car.

· Be courteous to those around you and not take up additional space or obstruct walkways/traffic

· Please discard trash in receptacles around the stadium or plan to take it with you to dispose.

· The tailgating area will close one hour after the game ends. All personal effects must be removed, and your area cleaned by then. Trash must be properly disposed of in the designated containers.

Alcohol Consumption:

There will NOT be any alcohol for sale at the game

· Fans may bring their own alcohol for personal consumption at their tailgate or by their vehicle

· You must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.

· Kegs are not allowed

· Alcohol is NOT allowed in the stadium per the SCAC and Texas Lutheran University

 

Other items of note:

· No glass containers will be allowed in the tailgating area. Coolers are fine.

· Because of fire concerns, only gas grills are allowed and must be able to be carried in (i.e. no trailer grills)

· Sound amplification equipment must be approved. Single iPods are approved.

· Only noise reducing generators are allowed.

· Service animals are permitted, but pets are not allowed.

· All tailgate activities are private parties. Any commercial activity is strictly prohibited. This includes advertising, giveaways, taking of orders, sales, donations, fundraisers, collecting and distributing literature, marketing or promotional materials.

· No organization or individual may sell any food, beverages, goods or services (including donations and fundraisers) at official tailgate activities except those officially contracted by TLU to provide such services.

· Individuals, groups and organizations hosting or participating in tailgate activities are responsible for their own conduct and must respect the rights of others and the TLU community. Groups hosting tailgate parties are responsible for providing their own designated drivers.

· TLU reserves the right to refuse or remove any tailgate party or individuals at any time.
