Leonard Arnic
Bio
From Gonzales, Texas, Arnic attended TLC from 1976 to 1980 and was a four-year letter winner as a running back for the Bulldog football team and an outfielder/designated hitter for the baseball team. As a running back, he played in 31 games and averaged nearly four yards per carry, scoring 10 touchdowns. In baseball, Arnic had a four-year batting average of .330. In 1979, he helped lead TLC to the Big State Conference Championship. In the 1980 season, he drew 48 walks, the second highest total in a season by a Bulldog, and led the team batting with a .391 average. He had 10 home runs and 44 runs batted in. He was named an NAIA All-American that year as a designated hitter.
