Allen, Hornaday Honored as SCAC Announces Winter 2023-24 All-Sportsmanship Teams
SUWANEE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 16th annual winter All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 34 student-athletes were selected to the 2023-24 squad in the sports of men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming and diving and women's swimming and diving.
Since the inaugural All-Sportsmanship teams were honored in the fall of 2008, the SCAC has recognized almost 2,000 student-athletes who each, in his or her own way, has displayed the league's core belief in the value of honorable conduct.
Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season.
Junior Easton Allen (New Braunfels/Marion) and redshirt sophomore Audry Hornaday (Mission/Sharyland) were selected to represent the TLU men's and women's basketball teams respectively. This marks the first All-Sportsmanship Team honor for Hornaday while Allen repeats as a member of the team.
